These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the contract for construction work — that is a separate, signed document.
This website is information, not an offer
Nothing on this site is a quote, a bid, or a binding offer. Descriptions of scope are there to explain how the work is normally approached — they are not a promise about what any particular job will include.
A price becomes real when it is in a written scope and bid we have given you for your specific project, and it becomes binding when there is a signed agreement. If something on this website appears to contradict your signed agreement, the signed agreement governs.
Scope descriptions vary by job
Every building is different. A description here of how a bathroom is normally waterproofed, or how a deck ledger is normally flashed, describes good practice and our usual approach. What your job requires depends on what we find when we measure it and open it up.
Where an item is in a scope list on this site but is not in your written bid, it is not in your price.
Accuracy, and placeholders
We try to keep this site accurate. Where we do not yet have a fact confirmed, the
page says so with a visible ⟦VERIFY⟧ marker rather
than an estimate. If you see one of those, take it literally: it means the
information does not exist yet, not that it is being withheld.
Do not rely on anything marked that way.
No professional advice
Technical explanations on this site — about frost depth, structural headers, waterproofing, moisture, electrical requirements or code — are general information. They are not engineering advice, and they are not a substitute for a structural engineer, a licensed trade, or your local building department on your specific project.
Building codes and their local amendments change. Do not use this website as a code reference.

Photographs of completed work are of projects ASI performed. Where an image is a render or an illustration rather than a photograph of our work, it is not captioned as our work. If you believe an image here is mislabeled, tell us and we will correct or remove it.

Our content
Text, images, and the design of this site belong to All Season Improvements or are used with permission. Do not republish substantial portions without asking. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link.
